Cleaning the Golf Cart Seats
Golf carts are not an alien sight anymore, they have moved from the country clubs to the roads. There are used golf carts for sale at prices which most people can afford. These are also brand new golf carts for sale but they will cost more money. The golf cart seats are where we sit while we drive around. Although it is not s exposed as the tires and the golf cart top, it can still get dirty. It is a must to clean to regularly, unless you want to golf cart to smell like something died in it. You would want it to smell good so that people will like riding in your golf cart.
Cleaning golf cart seats may take some time. Make sure that you prepare the items you are going to need in cleaning which is a bucket of water and dish washing detergent. Dish washing detergent comes in handy when cleaning a lot of things. You should always have this ready. A vinyl cleaner or a spray carpet cleaner will also do a great job.
Clean the removable seat covers first. You can use the spray cleaner for this. Rinse them and allow them to air dry. There are also covers which can be washed by the machine, this makes cleaning a lot easier because you can just throw them in the washing machine.
Use a dry cloth to wipe the golf cart seats clean. Make sure to get rid of any dirt and dust. To clean the seats, apply vinyl cleanser to the seats or you can mix a small amount of the dishwashing detergent in a bucket of water. Start with back of the seats and continue to the other parts of the seat. For hard to reach areas like the seams, use a toothbrush.
Rinse the seats by dipping a sponge in the bucket of clean water and remove any residue of soap or vinyl cleaner. Wipe the seats dry with a clean, dry cloth. Let the seats dry thoroughly before putting the covers back on.
