Great Fun with Spider-Man Toys
Spider-man is one cool super-hero. Why wouldn’t he be one, when he has the ability to cling to walls, swing from rooftop to rooftop using webbings of his own creation, lift objects much heavier than himself, fight enemies with his amazing agility and reflexes, and have that danger warning spider-sense? Every little kid who has read his comic-books or watched his movies wants to be able to have his abilities and go off on one of his adventures. In recent years, more and more kids, and fans in general, have gotten to know of Spidey’s adventures because of the increased marketing and visibility of products featuring the wall-crawler.
And a great part of his appeal is that he is not so overly endowed with abilities that he has already become invulnerable. He is still prone to losses; in fact he gets quite a bit of thrashing from his super-villains in many of his adventures. That, and the fact that his mask conceals his whole face, makes him one of the most easily identifiable heroes in comics. But of course, even as we can all easily identify with Spider-man and his predicaments, the fact remains that we can’t be him. So kids, who idolize him, and even the adult ones, would have to settle for reading the comics, watching the movies, or playing with the Spiderman fun toys that are available today.
When it comes to the toys based on Spidey, there are a number of really good ones available in the market. There are of course the action figures that are of different sizes and made of different materials, the web shooting toys based on his webbings, the video games based on his many adventures, and many, many more. Spider-man’s ever-growing popularity ensures that more toys like that would come out in the future, just as popular TV shows has its own line of toys, such as Glee games to play.
