Presenting the Amazing Asus EEE Pad Transformer
Almost a year ago Apple started a crazy thing, the tablet mania. Now the market is flooded with dozens and dozens of devices that makes it so hard for a person to decide which way to look, let alone decide what to buy. The Asus EEE Pad Transformer is one of the fantastic four showcased at the 2011 CES. This is one of those gadgets that bring together multiple units to give more functionality to a single “member,” in this a tablet that will be transformed, as the name suggest, into a notebook.
This cool Asus Tablet comes in a small package, without any physical keys on the main body. The display is a generous one of 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels that covers almost all of the space, but thanks to the large enough margins the gadget can still be easily held.
The new, regarding to the tablet world, is as previously mentioned de option to hook up a QWERTY keyboard, included with the product, by the means of a docking station, thus turning the whole thing into a 10.1 inch laptop. There isn’t anything special about the keyboard, just a regular laptop one that also includes the classic clickpad.
When it comes to the technical part, like most of the enthusiasts are used to it, Asus has adopted the best, which is the new NVIDIA technology in the shape of the Tegra 2 dual-core processor specially developed for mobile devices. This allows for a flawless rendering of high definition videos, one of the things that makes tablets so popular. So far Asus hasn’t decided on the RAM equipment but we are anticipating 1GB of RAM and either 16 GB or 32 GB for storage.
Asus EEE Transformer’s connectivity is assured by HDMI and USB ports that are completed by a memory card one. Like the rest of his brothers the tablet has 2 video cameras, front and back, 1.3 MP in the front and 5 MP in the back.
Another important key factor is the battery life which is promised to be between 8 and 16 hours, depending on the type of usage. The whole gadget weighs almost 700 grams, not including of course the QWERTY keyboard, so when it comes to weight you can easily place this device in the best tablet computer category.
To sum up the Asus EEE Pad Transformer is another spectacular brother that is awaited to make it presence known on the market.
