Does anyone remember the old floppy disks of yore? Probably not and that is for they have been replaced and transformed into USB flash drives. If you just thought USB flash drive were just handy and cool and fast…well they might be, but they also had purpose and that was to replace the floppy disk. Now we have a faster tool to download, transport and store information from our computers. USB flash drives are like mini hard drives and can store our information. We can then take it to any computer and share it with family and friends or have it be an excellent backup system for all our music, document files, and photos.

A screen will pop up that will give your list and your UBS flash drive will be one of the options for you usually at the bottom. You click it on and will see all the files or music you have on the drive. From there you can easily click and drag over whatever other items that you want to put on your USB flash drive from your computer.
Uses for USB Flash Drive
The USB flash drive is goal was to replace the floppy disk and do everything it did and more. You most definitely store more on a USB than you could a floppy and they are more resilient too. They come in handy for school, work, and sharing pictures with family and friends. For example if you wrote a paper at home and do not have a printer you can then easily put it on your flash drive then go over to friends computer and print it out, or even print it out at school for those assignments you forgot to print out, but have it on your USB flash drive. Thus it is very cool to carry to carry around your flash drive.
